Mary Queen of Scots Cocktail
The Mash Bill:

3/4oz Green Chartreuse
3/4oz Drambuie
The Work Order:
- Sugar rim a Martini glass
- Fill Shaker with ice
- Pour all ingredients
- Shake
- Strain
- Garnish with a Maraschino cherry
- Serve
My Thoughts:
A great scotch cocktail for after dinner. Slightly viscous, this cocktail imparts strong, long lasting flavours of herbs and smoked wood. Best to skip this one if you are not a fan of scotch.

My Thoughts:
A very nice cocktail, its complex in flavour, with hints of the two whiskies and coffee.
I used Rare Breed in this cocktail, as I knew that anything that I mixed it into was going to have a fantastic flavour. unfortunatly I havent got around to buying any Drambuie yet, so I made my own ‘drambuie shaken with cream’ by shaking 1/3oz Johnnie Walker Black Label and 1oz cream, which also brings a smooth, smokey flavour to the top of the cocktail.
The Coffee is not as pronounced in the cocktail as it was in the Coffee Martini, but it is still noticable in the aftertaste.
I garnished the top of the cream with some sprinkles of regular instant coffee.
